A one-shot freelance build. Five pages, hard deadline, audience of compiler folks who scan rather than scroll.

· Challenge
The previous site buried the schedule under a hero carousel. People who want to register want two things: when, and a button.
· Approach
I led with the schedule. Hero is a single sentence and one CTA. Sub-pages use a strict 12-column grid with mono captions in the margins, no decorative gradients. Motion only on focus changes and page transitions.
· Outcome
Conference organizers shipped on time. Site cleared 100 Lighthouse on mobile.
